I already use WhatsApp + Drive. Why switch?
WhatsApp + Drive works until you have 4 events overlapping. Then it breaks: links stop opening, guests ask the same questions five times, and you spend Monday morning chasing selections. PhotoSelect will be one ledger for every event; you’ll know exactly who’s at what stage without asking.
Can I keep my existing studio brand?
Yes. From Flexi onward, every gallery shows your studio mark, your colors, and your cover photo. Studio Elite adds a custom domain. We set it up with you during onboarding, so guests visit gallery.your-studio.in instead of a PhotoSelect URL.
What about photos I’ve already delivered?
Bring them in. Drag a Drive folder, a ZIP, or a NAS export onto an album and PhotoSelect ingests it. Faces are indexed in the background, so guests can run a selfie match on the same evening.
Do you charge commission on what my client pays me?
Zero. PhotoSelect never takes a commission on what your client pays; we’re a flat monthly or per-event fee, never a cut. Direct-to-your-account settlement is rolling out with our Razorpay partnership; for founding studios we settle directly in the meantime.
What if the venue has bad WiFi?
The guest gallery is a PWA. It works offline at the venue: browsing, shortlisting, saved selections all queue locally. The moment a signal returns, everything syncs. Zero data loss on poor networks.
Can the family share access without forwarding the link?
Yes. Each guest creates a face-match identity from a selfie. No login, no app install. The family can shortlist together on different phones, and the ledger shows you exactly who selected what.
How does payment-locked delivery actually work?
Originals stay behind a vault. The moment Razorpay confirms payment (UPI, card, or netbanking), the vault unlocks for the buyer’s identity only. No “I’ll pay next week” chase. Photos, not credits.
Can I leave anytime?
Cancel from your dashboard. Studio Pro and Studio Elite are month-to-month, no contracts. Your galleries stay live for 90 days after cancellation so guests don’t lose access mid-event.
