1. Overview
PhotoSelect, operated by Antharmaya Labs, offers studio subscriptions, one-time event packs, and a payment-gated gallery-unlock feature that studios may use to collect payments from their own clients. This policy explains cancellation and refund handling for each. All amounts are in Indian Rupees (₹) and processed through our payment provider, Razorpay.
2. Studio subscriptions (Studio Pro, Studio Elite)
Subscriptions are billed in advance for the chosen period (monthly or annual). You can cancel anytime from your account; cancellation stops future renewals and your plan stays active until the end of the current paid period.
Fees already paid for the current period are generally non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law or where a clear billing error occurred (for example, a duplicate charge). If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 7 days and we will investigate and refund eligible amounts.
3. Event packs and one-time purchases
Event packs and other one-time purchases are consumable. An unused pack may be refunded within 7 days of purchase if it has not been applied to an album or otherwise consumed. Once a pack has been used (for example, photos uploaded against it), it is non-refundable.
If a purchase fails to deliver the entitlement it was bought for due to a fault on our side, we will either restore the entitlement or refund it.
4. Client gallery-unlock payments
Where a studio enables paid downloads, the studio sets the price and the payment is for the studio’s photographs. PhotoSelect charges zero platform commissionon these client payments. Because these payments relate to the studio’s own service and deliverables, refund decisions for client unlock payments rest with the studio that owns the gallery.
If you are a client (guest) who paid to unlock a gallery and wish to request a refund, please contact the studio that shared the gallery with you. PhotoSelect will support the studio with any technical reversal needed once the studio approves it. (Direct studio-settlement via our payment partner is being rolled out; until then we assist the studio with reconciliation.)
5. Payment failures, duplicate or incorrect charges
If a payment is debited but the corresponding subscription, pack, or unlock is not activated, or if you are charged twice for the same item, the affected amount is refunded to the original payment method. Approved refunds are typically initiated within 5–7 business days; the time for funds to appear depends on your bank or card issuer.
6. How to request a refund
Email billing@photoselect.space (or support@photoselect.space) with your account email, the transaction/payment reference, and a short description. We aim to acknowledge refund requests within 3 business days and resolve eligible requests promptly.
